I don’t know what it was today but on just about every metro ride today (quite a few) it was stop, start, stop, start, start, stop.

However, I did finally make it to Rio De Los Remedios and after navigating past the swirl of multicoloured tables I crouched down for a look at some of the promotion bills. I read just today that one of the bands promoted – the hugely successful ‘Los Tigres del Norte’ were banned by authorities in the city of Chihuahua from performing in the city after playing a song which allegedly glorifies narcotrafficking. Boxing practice, cactus graffiti, street art and old school parks in streets named after the valleys of rivers including Asia’s mighty Mekong, Ethiopia’s Mena, the Mississippi, China’s Yangtze and Mexico’s Mezquital are all there too!
No sé qué fue hoy pero casi cada vez que anduve en metro (varias veces) había muchisimas paradas.

Sim embargo, por fin llegué a Rio De Los Remedios y después de pasar una selección de mesas de varios colores me agaché para ver unos carteles promocionales. Justo hoy lei que uno de las bandas promocionadas – el altamente exitoso grupo ‘Los Tigres del Norte’ fue probihibo a tocar en la ciudad de Chihuahua después de cantar una canción que presuntamente glorifica el narcotráfico.
