To celebrate the milestone of reaching station # 50 I decided to take the MCM Project on a journey to….. well, actually it is more of a homecoming.
Isabel La Catolica is one of two stations which I consider ‘home stations’ being in close proximity to where I live and is the station where I usually start my urban wanderings each day.
So, a local stroll it was.
The street art is a feature of the area. I especially like the old cross-legged sage who responds to ‘What is solitude?’ with ‘Solitude is not knowing how to be by oneself.’
The Sandoner image is cool too!
Sweet potatoes and fried bananas tingle the olfactory sense, melodious wafts drift through the air from the cold metal of a trumpet and sax and the ‘Federación Mexicana de Charrería‘ stands bold to oversee Mexico’s national sport.
Back to the tracks soon. Onward to 100 and beyond!
Para celebrar el hito de llegar a estación # 50 decidi llevar el MCM Project de viaje a ….. bueno, de hecho es más como un regreso a casa.
Isabel La Catolica es una de dos estaciones cercanas a donde vivo y es la estación donde normalmente empiezo mis vagos urbanos cada día.
Por lo tanto, fue una caminata local.
El arte callejero destaca por los alrededores de la estación. Me gusta, especialmente, el sabio antiguo que responde a ‘¿ Qué es la soledad?’ con ‘La soledad es no saber estar consigo mismo.’
La imágen de Sandoner es chida también.
Camotes y platanos fritos tentan al sentido olfativo, soplos melodiosos derivan en el aire del metal frio de una trompeta y saxofono y ‘La Federación Mexicana de Charrería‘ está ubicada alli para regular el deporte nacional de México.
