VICE produces a lot of interesting documentaries, often focusing on social or political issues or movements.
This short documentary, “The Subway Gangs of Mexico City”, focuses on the culture of groups of young Mexico City residents who use their ‘home’ metro station -where they meet up – as a base for their collective identity.
The film explores issues surrounding music, drugs, friendship and conflict with other subway gangs and police.
It provides an interesting insight into the mindset and behaviour of some residents of this mammoth city.

Este documental ‘Los Combos Reguetoneros’ , está centrado en la cultura de grupos de jóvenes de la Ciudad de México que usan la estación del metro donde se juntan como una base de su identidad colectiva.
El cortometraje explora temas alrededor de la música, drogas, amistad y conflicto con otros combos y la policía.
Da un conocimiento interesante a las actitudes y comportamientos de algunos residentes de esta ciudad enorme.
Sí tienes un poco de tiempo vale la pena mirarlo. Próximamente viene la entrada por mi última visita a la linea 12.
